We are currently seeking a Licensed Private Investigator to join our investigative field team. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, observant, and comfortable working independently in dynamic environments.
Reports To: Managing Investigator / Regional Director
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mobile and stationary surveillance on individuals or locations
Capture video and photographic evidence using covert cameras and equipment
Complete detailed, time-stamped daily activity logs and reports
Perform background checks, witness interviews, or skip tracing (as assigned)
Monitor and document subjects for infidelity, custody violations, fraud, or policy breaches
Communicate with case managers or supervisors regularly regarding case status
Maintain complete confidentiality and adhere to legal boundaries at all times
Qualifications
Valid Texas Private Investigator License (Required)
Experience in surveillance, private investigations, law enforcement, or security (1+ years preferred)
Strong writing and observational skills
Working knowledge of covert recording tools and GPS tracking
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Availability to work variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with domestic cases (infidelity, child custody)
Familiarity with urban and suburban environments in Dallas or Houston
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Military, security, or law enforcement background preferred
