Generational Divide on Infidelity: My Sit-Down on Fox 26

Pulled Up to Fox 26 with Isiah Carey

Last night I pulled up to Fox 26 Houston for a sit-down on The Isiah Factor Uncensored with Isiah Carey, and we got into something that’s been on my mind for a while now — the generational divide on infidelity and how fast the whole conversation is shifting in 2026.

What's Changing about the generational divide on infidelity

Older generations used to ride it out. That was the playbook for a lot of marriages — you suspected something, maybe you knew something, but you didn’t blow up the house. Kids, mortgage, church, retirement on the horizon. People stayed.

This generation? Different story. The generational divide on infidelity isn’t just about who’s cheating — it’s about how people respond when they find out. Today men cheat. Women cheat. All ages. All races. All income levels. And when the suspicion hits, this generation isn’t sitting on it for ten years the way their parents did. They want to know, and they want to know now.

That’s the shift Isiah and I broke down on the show. Not who’s right or wrong — that’s not my lane. My lane is what people do with what they suspect.

What I Told Isiah about generational divide on infidelity

Here’s the truth I’ve watched play out across 17+ years and hundreds of cases all over Houston and across all 50 states: people almost always know. The gut already knows. By the time somebody picks up the phone to call my office, they’ve usually been sitting with that feeling for months. Sometimes years.

What they don’t have — and what they actually need — is proof. Real, documented, legally obtained proof. The kind that holds up in court if it has to. The kind that doesn’t get them in trouble. The kind that gives them something solid to stand on, whether the next move is a hard conversation, a divorce attorney, or a custody filing.

That’s the whole job of an infidelity investigation. Not to tell you what’s happening — you usually already know — but to put something undeniable in your hand.

What I Tell Every Caller — Don't Do This Yourself

If your gut’s been telling you something for months, trust it. But here’s what I told Isiah on air, and it’s the same thing I tell every caller who reaches out to my office: don’t confront, and don’t follow them yourself.

I see it all the time. Somebody confronts too early — the partner gets careful, the evidence trail goes cold, and the case gets ten times harder to work. Or somebody starts following their own spouse, gets spotted, gets into a fender bender, gets pulled over, gets into a confrontation that ends badly. None of that helps. Most of it makes things worse, legally and personally.

What you do is call somebody licensed. Texas DPS license A30913601 — that’s our firm, and any licensed PI’s number you can verify through the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau. A licensed investigator can run surveillance the right way, document the right way, and hand you something you can actually use — without putting you in the middle of it.

Why the Generational Divide on Infidelity Conversation Matters

The reason I went on Fox 26 to talk about the generational divide on infidelity isn’t because cheating is new. It’s not. The reason it matters now is that the response is changing — and that means more people than ever are reaching for resources their parents never had.

Background checks before a serious relationship. Surveillance when something stops adding up. Asset searches before a divorce filing so nothing gets hidden. Child custody investigations when the other parent’s behavior is a concern. Today’s generation is using these tools earlier and more often than the one before it. That’s a real shift, and it’s worth talking about on air.

Appreciate the Fox 26 Team

Big thanks to Isiah Carey and the entire Fox 26 Houston team for having me on. The Isiah Factor Uncensored doesn’t shy away from real conversations, and that’s exactly the kind of platform this topic deserves. Looking forward to the next one.
