Discreet corporate investigations that protect what you’ve built

Overview

Businesses retain us when something internal has to be established as fact before a decision gets made. Inventory that does not reconcile. An employee working a second job during covered leave. A departing salesperson who downloaded the customer list on the way out. A complaint that human resources cannot investigate without the outcome looking predetermined.

The problem is rarely finding out what happened. It is being able to show, later, how you found out. Corporate investigations conducted internally by someone with a stake in the result create the exact vulnerability the investigation was meant to close. A terminated employee’s counsel does not have to prove the allegation was false. They only have to establish that the process was not neutral.

Over 17+ years and more than 800 closed cases, we have worked corporate matters on the understanding that the file may eventually be read by opposing counsel, an arbitrator, or a jury. Findings are documented as observations rather than conclusions. Interviews are conducted and recorded to a consistent standard. Where the evidence does not support the allegation, that is what the report says.

Meet Our Investigators

Our investigators come from backgrounds in law enforcement, military intelligence, corporate security, and licensed investigative practice. Those assigned to workplace matters have conducted investigative interviews that were later reviewed in arbitration and litigation, which shapes how they work: interviews are structured consistently across witnesses, statements are documented rather than summarized, and findings are separated from recommendations.

All investigators hold the licensure required in the jurisdiction where the work is performed and maintain active membership with the National Council of Investigation and Security Services. After 17+ years of corporate investigations nationwide, we assign matters based on documented experience with the issue type rather than availability.
